We offer top quality mule deer hunts
in the foothills of the
Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada.
Our deer hunts are in secluded areas where there is little
hunting pressure.
We hunt mule deer all of November
when the rut is on and the big bucks are vulnerable. We also
hunt mule deer in early September when they are not bothered
and can be easily hunted on their patterns. There are a lot
of nice size deer in our area and we try to focus our hunts
on 170"+. If you are patient there is always a chance
at a bigger trophy.
Our hunting is mostly done
from hunting blinds on tower stands that are set up in advance
after scouting by myself and experienced local guides. We
can also do some walking and calling or hunt from a vehicle
if you prefer. We strive to find and use the spots that have
very few or no other hunters.
During the November deer hunt
we stay our lodge in Grande Cache, Alberta which has close
access to our hunting areas. You will be very happy with the
food and accommodations. We are completely devoted to giving
our best effort to make your mule deer hunting trip an unforgettable
and successful one.
Our
area has a large population of whitetail deer. Whitetail can
be added to your mule deer hunt to make a great combination
if you want a chance at going home with two trophy's.
Rifle and archery hunters can also combine mule deer
hunts with other hunts such as elk, moose, black bear and
