Transporting Firearms
You must declare your firearms in writing, in triplicate, using the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration (form CAFC 909).

  2. The form is in "Filliable" PDF format, which means you may type your information directly on the form. Complete the form(s) and print in triplicate.
  3. Wait until you arrive at the point of entry to sign the form because a customs officer must witness your signature.
  4. Registration fee of $50.00 CDN is payable to the customs officer.
If you do not want to complete the form online, you may print it and fill it out at a later time.
